The previous navigation contained redundant elements and an unclear information hierarchy, creating user confusion. The redesign streamlined navigation paths and established a clearer structure to improve usability and discoverability.

Through user interviews and prototype testing, I identified key pain points and behavioral patterns. These insights guided my iterative design process, helping create better user experience.

Although the redesign was not yet developed during my time at Forbes, a former colleague later reached out to share that the proposed changes had been implemented and successfully launched. It was rewarding to see the work carried through to production and make a tangible impact on the user experience.

One of my biggest takeaways from this project was the value of cross-functional collaboration. By partnering closely with my project manager, I was able to connect directly with users, gather meaningful research insights. That user-centered approach provided the context needed to design an effective solution and delivered a better overall experience.
